Myako display font merges oversized curves with deep inktrap cuts to build expressive display typography for modern packaging.

The display font project brings cheerful weight to modern page layout. Designed by Limitype, the font sample shows a strong typography system across poster sheets, product boxes, and web banners. Thick letter stems contrast with soft rounded corners. Sharp inktrap notches carve into key join points. These cuts keep letter forms crisp at big sizes. The primary font weight uses heavy stems and tight counter spaces. These shapes create a warm retro feel that stands out on print items and digital screens. High visual contrast keeps every headline clean across colorful food packaging items.

Deep Inktrap Cuts in Display Typography

Sample pages show how the letterforms function across different scale sizes. Large poster prints place bold headlines next to short subtext lines. Deep notch cuts prevent ink bleed on physical paper stock. This keeps letter joins sharp and clean. The character set includes full numbers, punctuation marks, and multi language glyphs. Packaging mockups for drink cans and snack boxes show how the bold typography holds strong store shelf presence. Each layout uses generous white space to let the heavy letter shapes breathe on the page. The font works well in print and online.
