Molnár Péter explores his birth year in a bold posters concept, celebrating landmark 1976 cultural and technological icons.

Created by graphic designer Molnár Péter, this project acts as personal origin research. He looks back at his birth year of 1976 from the year 2026. Rather than relying on simple retro tropes, this posters concept selects breakthrough moments whose impact still lasts today. Each print builds around bold geometric cuts of the number 76. The prints honor the JVC VHS tape deck, the Fairchild Channel F game console, the Ramones debut album, the Concorde supersonic jet, the film Rocky, and the Volkswagen Golf GTI.

Fifty years of cultural memory in a posters concept

The visual system pairs clean Swiss geometry with raw print grain. Bold fields of racing red, rich blue, and deep black sit on warm cream paper. Giant numeral shapes meet small tech notes, barcode marks, and fictional future copyright stamps. In the Concorde and Rocky prints, sharp diagonal lines lead the eye through historical data with clean type hierarchy. Bold poster graphics give each landmark item a strong visual pulse, high contrast, and crisp geometric lines.

By blending 1976 relics with future manual badges, the series turns personal memory into a rich graphic archive. Heavy headline type sits next to tiny spec text to give each print real tactile depth. Every layout treats historical items as bold graphic shapes on paper. Wide borders frame each scene with calm balance and clear focus. This posters concept shows how graphic art can bridge fifty years of design history. The full posters concept proves the lasting power of classic pop culture.
