Intuit Rebrand: Inside JKR's New Identity System
JKR built the Intuit rebrand around one idea: the letter i. A new lowercase wordmark detaches into an animated symbol for Intuit Intelligence.
The whole system reads like it wants to start a conversation. The wordmark drops its capitals and talks to you in lowercase, set in a soft geometric sans that feels friendly before it feels corporate. Intuit's signature blue carries the primary work, deep and saturated, while the campaign images spread the voice wide: grass-green billboards, coral posters, lime-green story frames. The anchor is the detached i, a dot over a stem that works as punctuation, pictogram, and monument at once. Nothing here shouts. It is all confidence, delivered at human volume.

The Intuit Rebrand in Detail
The type story is restraint. One lowercase sans does nearly everything: the wordmark, the headlines, the product names inside the campaign frames. Its round terminals and open counters keep long words like intelligence legible at mural scale and honest at favicon scale. JKR draws the system outward from the letterforms: on one brick-wall mural, the letters of intuit are rebuilt from finance icons, receipts, and percent signs, a typographic poster that doubles as a brand manual. On campus, the same letterforms grow into a blue i totem that doubles as wayfinding.
The identity lands in the physical world first. Billboards carry the new lowercase wordmark in white over grass-green photography, while the murals blow the system up to building scale. A set of framed posters stages the campaign like a gallery wall, coral, green, and yellow, each with the wordmark tucked in a corner. The case film pushes the idea further: the i detaches from the wordmark and animates, an interface glyph for Intuit Intelligence, where AI and human experts work together across TurboTax, Credit Karma, QuickBooks, and Mailchimp.
