Dima Shiryaev designed a clinical visual identity and event branding system for Housepital™, featuring modular grids and punch-card frames.

Conceived as a dedicated gathering space for house music adherents in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, the branding merges clinical utility with electronic music culture. Dima Shiryaev anchors the identity with an uncompromising, heavy grotesque display wordmark. The letterforms feature tightly connected character bridges and custom rounded junctions that recall modular hospital hardware, archival catalog labels, and laboratory instrumentation. A sharp color palette pairing saturated cobalt blue (#0066CC), deep crimson red (#E61E24), and neutral off-white creates immediate optical contrast across digital promotions, screen graphics, and printed collateral.

Modular Grids and Clinical Event Branding

The layout language avoids routine club flyer tropes by treating every touchpoint as a precision specimen document. The event branding employs punch-card cutouts, perforated paper edges, and surgical telemetry crosshairs to frame artist photography and performance lineups. Rather than relying on decorative illustrations or party backdrops, the grid does the structural work. High-contrast display typography sits alongside digital segment framing and technical coordinates, turning event schedules, timetable lineups, and artist announcement cards into disciplined graphic artifacts.

In physical execution, the branding expands across a complete suite of event merchandise, apparel, and admission collateral. Heavyweight black cotton hoodies feature surgical crosshair markings and understated chest coordinates, while unbleached raw canvas tote bags display red corner crop marks and inverted typographic stamps. Glossy admission wristbands and die-cut event passes demonstrate how the identity translates directly from glowing screens to tactile paper and vinyl substrates.

By establishing rigorous typographic scaling, high-contrast color fields, and modular framing devices, Dima Shiryaev proves how event branding can command attention through structural restraint rather than visual noise. The branding system gives the underground music collective a distinctive, enduring voice across physical and digital formats.
